I recently noted that the valley's wonderful and professional Company of Fools will be performing "Doubt" Oct. 17 through Nov. 4. I felt compelled to write and suggest that this play be put on everyone's to-do lists.
My husband and I saw this Pulitzer Prize- and Tony-winning drama during one of our trips to New York City. We left the theater and continued to talk about the issues raised in this drama for days. The play's theme is one we have read about so very often in our national newspapers. It raises issues of human behavior and moral conflicts.
As a New York Times review said, "to borrow from Oscar Wilde, the truth is never pure and rarely simple."
We are so very fortunate to have plays of this depth brought to us to stir our minds.
