Change needed in Sun Valley

Residents of the city of Sun Valley will soon have the opportunity to cast their ballots for mayor and City Council positions.

Those who are happy with direction of the city should by all means vote for the incumbents who are running for re-election.

However, those who are dissatisfied with the current direction Sun Valley elected officials have chosen, including but not limited to the recently bungled "garbage pick up plan," prior attempts to restrict private property rights through "bulk housing" ordinances and, above all, until very recently an adversarial approach on a whole host of issues when dealing with Earl Holding and Sun Valley Co., may want to consider replacing some of our long-term incumbent leaders.

Candidate Wayne Willich for mayor, City Council Candidates Dewayne Briscoe and Milt Adam, along with Dave Chase, who technically is an incumbent, all may provide the fresh faces and new viewpoints badly needed in Sun Valley leadership to address some of the above concerns.
