FALL GAME DINNER AND AUCTION NOV. 10

It's only five weeks away, with winter not far behind. The Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation is planning its Fall Game Dinner and Auction for Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Sun Valley Inn Limelight Room. Dinner reservations are $75 per person ($25 tax deductible) and you can enter the ski pass drawing by signing up early. Music and dancing will complete the evening. GREAT BASIN GIRLS' SOCCER FINAL IS SATURDAY

With a win over #4-seeded Minico in Thursday's Great Basin Conference West tournament first-round game, the four-time defending champion Wood River Wolverine girls' varsity would have booked their ticket to host the tournament championship game Saturday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. at South Valley Sports Complex soccer field in Hailey. Wood River wants to nail down a berth in the State 4A meet Oct. 18 in Pocatello.
