Natalie Hague (200 free), Megan Hayes (50 free) and Racheal McGinnis (100 free) were girls who won individual gold. The "A" relay winners were 200 free, 200 medley and 400 free. "B" girls' relayers were third in 400 free and 200 medley.

Jon Atkinson, one of only four Wood River boys at Pocatello, took the gold medal in 100 free. And despite their small numbers, the Wood River boys finished a respectable sixth of 13 teams with 51 points. Idaho Falls won with 202 points ahead of Twin Falls High, 195.
