Wood River Inn came through

When the Castle Rock Fire evacuation order came for all of East Fork, we and our neighbors had to make a decision about where to go with ourselves and dogs. While other friends offered help, they didn't know what their evacuation status was going to be, either. A call to the staff at the Wood River Inn in Hailey assured us that they still had rooms and that they would gladly take dogs. They also quoted an evacuation rate of $50 per day—a major reduction from their regular high-season summer rate. So, for three days we were guests at the Wood River Inn along with other evacuees and firefighters.

So, besides a great big thank you to all the personnel and volunteers who worked on the Castle Rock Fire, thanks also to the owners and staff of the Wood River Inn.
