4-H bashers show ignorance

You might not know this, but Sun Valley was established originally by sheepherders. Farming and ranching is the root of the area. I can guarantee you that those farmers and ranchers did not raise those sheep for pets. They were a means of making money. And it is not just sheep. There are massive cattle and hog farms in this state, the country, and the world. Those are also not pets.

What the 4-H members do every summer is simply a small-scale ranch operation. None of the kids assumes that these animals are "pets." The sad part is not that the 4-H members are completing their projects, it's that you feel that you can bash the organization when you have no idea what it is about. Do you even know what the 4 H's stand for? You should try doing a little research and maybe put in a good, hard day's work like those kids do every day of their summer. When you can see what goes on in the organization, then you have the right to voice your opinion. Until then, your ignorance should be kept to yourself.
