Regrets

I'd like to post a formal apology for the letter that was printed in the Mt. Express titled "Should we point a finger?" Which was a title that the Mt. Express came up with. My intentions were not to perpetuate racism or point fingers in any way. It was to bring to light what I was reading in this paper week after week. And, after the murder and burning of a local girl, as a concerned father, I felt it necessary to speak.

My utmost respect and love goes out to the Hispanic-American community in this valley, without whom we would all suffer. My deepest apologies for any pain my letter might have caused you. In these times of immigration controversy, war and political corruption I now realize it was inappropriate. I guess we all have something to learn. Peace be with you. God Bless.
