Hispanics benefit our community

Please stop non-integration and racism.

Mr. Ross, with all due respect, I as an American of Hispanic heritage, and many other members of this great community and country, find your letter very disturbing. Taking a narrow-minded position of non-integration and racism is not the American way. I would like to refresh your memory. The very foundation this great country was based on was to provide unity for all immigrants arriving here, "with liberty and justice for all." Mr. Ross, we should all as fellow Americans, be proud of our heritage and seek respect.

You so graciously point out that not all Hispanics are criminals. I find this comment shameful. How many of us are not criminals in your view. Three or four?

I have been blessed and honored to be involved in serving the Hispanic members of this community and have continually been impressed with the high standards of family values, work ethic, honesty and compassion I encounter.

Hispanics are a vital and integral part of our community and the great country that we all share, respect and pledge our allegiance to.
