"Kick Ash Bash," a party to celebrate the end of the Castle Rock Fire, will rock downtown Ketchum on Saturday night, Sept. 29.

The Bruce Willis Blues Band and The Steve Miller Band have volunteered their talents to play for the "Castle Rock Firefighters Benefit Concert," said a Sun Valley-Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Bureau news release. The concert will be the centerpiece of "Kick Ash Bash" party.

Tickets are $25 for general admission and $200 for VIP admission including a private meet and greet with Miller. Tickets are available online at www.visitsunvalley.com or through the Sun Valley Center for the Arts in Ketchum beginning Sept. 14. Willis and Miller are local residents.

The weekend will also include a free Ketchum is Alive concert on Friday, Sept. 28 and all-day activities in the Ketchum Downtown Plaza on Sept. 28, as well the Baldy Hill Climb and the Roasted Duck Race.

Organizers hope to raise $100,000 to benefit the Sun Valley/Ketchum Volunteer Firefighters Association and the Wildland Firefighters Association.

A second organizational meeting on the "Kick Ash Bash" takes place today, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. at Ketchum City Hall. Volunteers are needed to turn plans into realities, said a SVKCVB news release.
