'Kick Ash Bash' considered

Although the Castle Rock Fire is not fully contained, and wind is predicted for the weekend, the idea of a "Kick Ash Bash" for Oct. 5 to Oct. 7 is being considered. It would be a "community party" to celebrate the end of the ordeal and to honor firefighters and public safety personnel and to "give visitors a new reason to return to Ketchum this fall," said a Ketchum-Sun Valley Chamber & Visitors Bureau news release. Those interested can contact Carol Waller, executive director of the chamber, at cwaller@visitsunvalley.com.
