Sealing efforts appreciated

On Monday, July 9, I made a request of the Ketchum City Council and the city administration that with the "chip sealing" of Warm Springs Road approaching an attempt should be made to make any detours through the Warm Springs side streets safe and organized. They said they would work on it.

I want to publicly thank the council and Mayor Randy Hall for their leadership in achieving these ends. More particularly I wish to recognize a job very well done: Brian Christiansen and the employees of the Street Department of Ketchum, City Administrator Ron LeBlanc, Police Chief Cory Lyman, Ketchum police personnel and all others who have coordinated their efforts to make the Saturday through Sunday project of "chip sealing" go very smoothly for the residents of the adjacent neighborhoods.

I personally appreciate the consideration the administration gave to this neighborhood's input and the end result.
