Give symphony more exposure

The Sun Valley Summer Symphony should have and deserves more exposure. As a starter, it would be highly appreciated if performances were broadcast live by one of the local radio stations, maybe even worked into public radio KWRV.

Expanding on that, the state-wide public radio stations of Boise State University might carry live the symphony performances or package them as a series for rebroadcast at times fitting schedules of these stations. BSU Radio could also offer these to the network of public radio stations across the country.

The symphony performances could also be on Idaho Public Television, especially next year when those will be in the new pavilion, a splendid setting.

A few years ago, I remember hearing broadcasts of the Teton Music Festival from Jackson, Wyo. In quality, the Sun Valley Summer Symphony is becoming the equal of the Teton Music Festival.

Regional and even national distribution of the symphony on radio and television would be most appropriate. What wonderful exposure for the Sun Valley Summer Symphony that is uniquely and proudly in Idaho.
