Center supports proposed hotel

As leaders of the Sun Valley Center for the Arts, we want to convey our enthusiasm for the proposed hotel plan on the remaining part of the Simplot-owned property across the street from the post office.

The project, if built, will be located adjacent to The Center's proposed new facility, and as such will certainly impact our programming and day-to-day operations. The developers-Simplot Ketchum Properties and Centurion Partners-have been supportive of our goals throughout their planning, and have worked to insure they are not hindered but advanced. The extensive amount of outdoor space and performing arts stage are two examples of their commitment to providing amenities that benefit this community.

We welcome the opportunity to continue to collaborate with the developers and have them as neighbors. We hope city officials and Ketchum residents will as well.
