Local wolf pack doomed

As of this week, sheep have been driven into the Phantom Hill wolf pack's home range just north of Ketchum. The federal government is out to kill them because they are killing sheep. Everyone who is proud to have these wolves around should know that this pack may be short lived, and three puppies will likely starve if the adults are killed. The wolves are denning in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. What is wrong with this picture?
