Levi Creed Stinnett, 18, joined Jesus in Heaven on June 19, 2007.
Levi was born Christmas Day 1988 in Twin Falls. From nine months to his departure, Levi made Hailey his home. Levi attended Bellevue Community Church with his Mom and sisters, and he also attended Bellevue Christian Academy until fifth grade, then enrolled at Hailey Elementary School, Wood River Middle School and Wood River High School, where he graduated in 2007.
As a skilled athlete, Levi enjoyed baseball as a kid and lettered in football and wrestling at Wood River. Wrestling was his passion sport, and he won many matches and competed at the state level.
Levi loved horses and working cattle. He had the privilege of indulging that love working at Glendale Farms. Levi loved the ranch and the people he worked with, speaking often of their adventures. Levi spent the last couple months of his life working with his uncle, Matt Robirds, for Jones Electric.
A typical Idahoan, Levi enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, fast cars, four-wheeling, camping and hanging with his many friends.
The best way to describe Levi: intense, full throttle, high octane, fearless, thrill seeking, spontaneous, hilarious and playful.
Levi left us too soon, and it is to our detriment that we will never know what could have been.
Left behind are his beloved girlfriend, Brittney Shipley, and their precious son, Tyler Aidan; parents, Dan Stinnett and Lisa Haman; sisters, Heidi (Cody) Saul of Medford Ore., and Gretchen (Harry) Motzkin; and nieces, Dana and Delaney of Hailey, Heaven (Tobin) Walton of Hailey, Purity Stinnett and Dayton of Buhl; his grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Levi's life will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Bellevue Community Church, 307 E Cedar in Bellevue. Memorial contributions can be made to the church. Contact The Rev. Tad Walton at 788-4190.
Arrangements are under the care of Wood River Chapel of Hailey.
