A little golf, lots of fun for Father?s Day

It was a brisk and chilly for the first drive of Father's Day, but the sunshine and family feeling warmed the 60 participants in Sunday's Father/Child golf scramble at Ketchum's Bigwood Golf Course.

First Flight winners for $58 were Jim and Jonathan Hobbs with a 33. Bill and Danny Sundali were right behind with a 34 for $48. Peter and Crockett Stearns (35) placed third.

The Pollock family—grandpa Dusty, father William and Henry and Isabelle—won the Second Flight honors (34).

Closest to the pin winners were Cassidy Carson and Mike Brunelle on hole #5, and Paul Carson and Bill Pollock on #8.

Here are top results by flight and their winnings:

First Flight: 1—Jim and Jonathan Hobbs 33 ($58). 2—Bill and Danny Sundali 34 ($48). 3—Peter and Crockett Stearns 35 ($36). 4 (tie)—Russ and Buffalo Lamb, Paul and Cassidy Carson 36 for each team, $20.50 per team. 6 (tie)—Mark and Bob Stone, Bob and Chance McCroskey 37 each, $6.50.

Second Flight: 1—The Pollock family (Dusty, William, Henry and Isabelle) 34 ($62). 2—Bob and Esther Williams 36 ($48). 3—The Stimac family (Max, Isabella and Olivia) 40 ($40). 4—Fritz and Taylor Peters 41 ($26). 5 (tie)—Ben Hoff and Heidi Stearns, Spyder and Winter Stevens 44 each ($18). 7—Mike and Ben Brunelle 46 ($14).
