Should the city of Ketchum spend taxpayer dollars to provide free wireless connections in the city?
It does not seem logical to spend taxpayer money on a luxury item. Not all residents of the valley have connections, nor do they want them, to the high-tech world. Those who need the access to wireless connections should be able to pay for those connections. If regular dial-up is sufficient, then those should be able to purchase and enjoy that service at their own pace. It is always a pleasure to reach out to my mother the old-fashioned way in the valley, by land-line phone calls. And even more of a pleasure for her to actually get something from the local post office from me.
