The Valley Club golf course staged its annual President's Cup tournament at the Hailey course last Thursday and Friday. The format featured 36 holes of stroke play.
Scott Lucas of Hailey was the overall champion, shooting rounds of 78 and 79 for a total of 157. Dave Cropper was runner-up in the Championship Flight with a two-day gross score of 160.
Net champion was Kevin Cincotta with a 148. Carmen Bradley was second by one stroke.
The women's champion was Happy Hawn with a 163 gross score. Suzanne Williams and Gundl Haskell tied for the net lead at 146. Winners pocketed $130 for their efforts. Second-place garnered $90. The event attracted 24 people.
Additional flight champions were Bill Potter, Dick Shelton, Steve Malkmus, Ross Williams, Dan Murphy, Bruce Kaplan, Doug Rhymes, and Matt Murray. Results follow:
