Basketball camp starts Monday in Hailey

Snowline camp for grades 5-12

The 26th annual Snowline Basketball Camp for boys and girls ages 10-18 is Monday through Wednesday, June 11-13, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the high school gym in Hailey.

Camp director Jim Boatwright has been conducting basketball camps in this area since 1982. He was a high school All-America basketball player at Minico High School in Rupert and a collegiate All-American on the hardwoods at Utah State University.

Boatwright is joined at the three-day summer camp by Wood River High School boys' varsity basketball coach John Radford and his coaching staff.

Snowline Hailey, in its fourth year, is for girls and boys in grades 5-12. Participants in grades 5-8 and 9-12 are placed in separate divisions. Campers bring their lunches.

The instructors focus on individual and group instruction in fundamental skills. Games are played daily in team competitions. There are awards given for free throw champions and jump shot champions.

Cost is $125 for pre-registration (if paid by June 8) or $150 per person after June 8 or at the door. Fees include a camp t-shirt and awards.

Send your registration forms to Jennifer Boatwright, 133 Treasure Lane, Hailey, ID 83333, or call 788-3700.
