A man from Washington state was arrested and charged with aggravated battery following a bar fight at Dirty Little Roddy's in downtown Ketchum late Thursday night.

Spirit E. Creagar was booked in the Blaine County Jail Friday morning after an alleged altercation with 23-year-old Cody M. Byington of Hailey. Creagar is believed to be in his early 30s, police said.

Ketchum Police Department spokeswoman Kim Rogers said police were called to Dirty Little Roddy's on Main Street at 11:57 p.m. on May 24.

"They responded to a call for a bar fight in the back smoking room. There was a fight with four people involved," Rogers said. She said the reason a charge of aggravated battery was issued is because a deadly weapon was allegedly used, which could be anything from a pool stick to a beer bottle that can cause bodily injury.

Both men were transported by ambulance to St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center south of Ketchum for medical attention and later released, Creagar into police custody.
