The board of the Croy Canyon Ranch Foundation would like to thank everyone on our Special Election Committee who worked very hard for the past month to get out the vote on May 22. We are very pleased that 91 percent of those voting endorsed the county's decision to sell Blaine Manor and to give the net proceeds of the sale to our foundation to help build a Continuing Care Retirement Community for area seniors.

Our next steps are to conduct a fund-raising feasibility study and to continue working on the design of the community. As we go forward with Croy Canyon Ranch, we will keep you informed of our progress. When the doors open in 2010, a great community asset for seniors in our valley will have been created.
