It was an eventful weekend for Sawtooth United Football Club youth soccer teams that competed in separate tournaments at Jackson Hole, Wyo. and in Twin Falls.

The U12 girls captured the title with a 4-0 record at the Tournament of the Tetons in Jackson Hole. The local Gold girls outscored their opponents 15-3 including Sunday's 4-2 championship game victory over Salt Lake City Impact.

SUFC U12 Gold beat Jackson Hole 5-1, won 3-0 over Impact and 3-0 over SUFC Navy before the finale. Most Valuable Players were Alison Gasenica, Maggie Williams, Kate Hamamoto and Gabi Perenchio.
