Vote ?yes? on Bellevue budget

I believe the job of the City Council and mayor of the city of Bellevue is to understand and explain the time in which we serve, to set forth a vision of where we need to go and a strategy of how to get there, and then pursue it with all our hearts and minds.

This is done with the help of the many great citizens that make up our beautiful commu-nity, and I want to say a special "thank you" to those who served on our Citizen's Advi-sory Board. Thank you for all your hard work. Thank you for looking at the services pro-vided by the city of Bellevue and determining that you be-lieve we need to invest more in our community. I am so proud you "Believe in Bellevue" be-cause I do, too, and I hope that everyone reading this does also and votes "yes" May 22 to help Bellevue establish a budget that is reflective of the level of service people expect to receive from such a community.

Believe in Bellevue. Vote yes.
