Warriors put the past behind them

With five games remaining in the regular season, the Wood River Warriors lacrosse team now has the two toughest teams in the league -- statistically speaking -- behind them.

Undefeated Centennial handed the Warriors a 9-3 loss in Mountain Home Tuesday. Wood River's Jeff Conover slotted two goals and David Dredge added one. Danny Ward came up with nine saves in goal. Wood River hosted the Treasure Valley League's #2 team, Timberline, last weekend, falling 7-2.

The Warriors (2-5) travel to Meridian Saturday for a matchup against Mountain View and play Vallivue in Mountain Home on Tuesday.
