Salute to the ?Spring Prom?

Salute to the 'Spring Prom'

When I attended the original "Prom" (then the "University of Ketchum Prom) over 25 years ago, Lloyd Betts, in his top hat, played records for a crowd of 50 or so dancers.

Over time the "Prom" grew to a major event, before eventually succumbing to changing times.

A few years ago the courageous gang at the Sun Valley Ketchum Chamber of Commerce (spearheaded by Stephanie Mahoney) decided to start up a "Spring Prom."

After a slow start the "Prom" has become a successful tradition.

It is truly wonderful to see the dance floor full to over-flowing with enthusiastic couples pulsating to some great music!

Congratulations from your Spring 2007 "King."
