Skier grateful for ?safety net?

I think I used to be a "glass half empty" type of person. But over the last couple of years, that glass is definitely looking different to me. I've come to appreciate the feel of every raindrop falling on my head, every snowflake landing on my face, and every blast of wind that chills me through my clothing. Because I know what could have been.

My recent experiences have scarred me, and changed me in more ways than one. As much as my life has spun out of control, there have always been others there to help rope it back in. It's a "safety net" I've never realized I had. A lot of people have helped me come back. I can't thank them enough.

The benefit given me by the Ski School and Sun Valley Co. was icing on the cake I've already enjoyed by surviving this long. It was unexpected, it was wonderful, and gave me a feeling I wish everyone could feel in his lifetime. There were so many people involved in putting this on that I couldn't possibly name them all here. I look forward to seeing you all in the future, and thanking you in person! Until then, Carpe Diem!
