I wanted to mention that since I have been back here for several weeks I have noticed the test parking located throughout Ketchum. I do not understand the purpose of doing this test parking.
It seems inconvenient and causes congestion, especially at the Ketchum Post Office.
It's more difficult for me to move forward then turn around with my arm on the seat head turned around looking to back in, and then continue to do so until you get it straight and even. How about the elderly, some of whom only use their rear view mirror? I haven't as yet seen anyone there monitoring this unusual parking procedure. No one has been there to ask me what I thought about this type of inconvenient parking.
How long will this test last and will it become permanent? What is the thought behind it?
I have not seen it before anywhere. It's weird and annoying.
Can someone explain why we are testing backing in parking?
