Drivers wrap up with SnoCross at Yellowstone

Snowmobile racing was very good to a group of Wood River Valley and Camas County drivers last weekend during the SnoWest SnoCross finals at West Yellowstone, Mt.

Ali Sherbine, Morgan Brashears and Trace Tupper all captured season championships and did well in the final competition. Placing high in their classes for the season were Brandon Swanson, C.J. Gorringe and Isaac Sherbine.

Tupper enjoyed a particularly good final weekend with a number of first places.

Here is a result summary for the successful young drivers:

Women's 600: Ali Sherbine (Arctic Cat) high points champion; 2nd, 2nd and 2nd in the final.

Junior 16-17: Morgan Brashears high points champion.

Junior Novice: Trace Tupper (Ski Doo) high points champion; six 1sts in the final.

Pro 440: Huston Brashears (Arctic Cat) seventh overall in season points; 2nd, 4th, 5th and 8th in the final. Brandon Swanson (Arctic Cat) 11th place overall in season points; 6th, 5th, 6th and 12th in the final.

Pro Open: Huston Brashears 3rd, 6th, 3rd and 8th in the final. Brandon Swanson 5th, 5th, 6th and 13th in the final.

Semi Pro 440: C.J. Gorringe (Polaris) second place overall in season points; 2nd, 4th, 2nd and 2nd in the final. Isaac Sherbine (Arctic Cat) third place overall in season points; 1st, 1st, 1st and 3rd in the final.

Semi Pro Open: Isaac Sherbine second place in overall season points. C.J. Gorringe fourth in season points.
