A reportedly disgruntled employee is accused of punching her boss, the owner of a Hailey restaurant.

To make matters worse, Hailey police reported that they found a white powdery substance in the employee's purse and they allege the substance is cocaine.

Nicole Willard, a 26-year-old mid-valley resident, faces charges of misdemeanor battery and felony possession of cocaine, according to a news release from the Hailey Police Department.

Willard was arrested around 5:45 p.m. Saturday, March 17, after police were called to a disturbance at Heidi's Hofbrauhaus on Main Street. Once they arrived, they were told that Willard had allegedly punched restaurant owner Heidi Lucas.

Police Chief Brian McNary said Willard is accused of pushing Lucas, forcing her "to the ground and punching her in the back of the head."

He said the white powdery substance was found while Willard was being searched prior to her arrest and transport to the Blaine County Jail.

Willard was in custody Tuesday morning on $2,500 bond. She was being held in the Twin Falls County Jail because Blaine County doesn't have accommodations for female prisoners.
