Wood River tennis dominates Gooding

Wood River High School's tennis team put on a dominating performance Tuesday in Gooding, winning every match except one.

Boys singles—Alex Henning (WR) defeated Kurt Kerr 7-5, 6-2; Tristan Tanner (WR) defeated Jacob Bow 6-1, 6-3; Samir Baccouche (Gooding) defeated Jason Barbee 7-5, 6-3.

Boys doubles—Connor Syraman and Brendon Freund (WR) defeated Matt Maloney and Richard Kelly 7-5, 6-1; Ben Leopold and Jordan Niedrich (WR) defeated Tim Arkoosh and Josh Bullers 6-1, 6-0.

Girls singles—Anna Chrysikopaulos (WR) defeated Amanda Rider 6-0, 6-0; Kira Gardner (WR) defeated Alisa Reed 6-1, 6-0; Rachel Kaufman (WR) defeated Jessica Thatcher 6-0, 6-0.

Girls doubles—Tessa Barrows and Tonya Greenwood (WR) defeated Bri Quallis and Allison Bigler 6-1, 6-0; Allison Rust and Tory Lakey (WR) defeated Dessa Qualls and Erin Kerr 6-1, 6-1.

Mixed doubles—Whitney Debree and Cory Rudkowski (WR) defeated Chase McLeod and Melissa Lockwood 6-0, 6-0; Alex Mallen and R.J. Forgeon (WR) defeated Steven Coyne and Rani Stafford 7-5, 6-0.
