Fast becoming one of the most anticipated events of the year, The Community Library's "Our Moveable Feast" benefit will take place on Sunday, March 11, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the library in Ketchum.

"We expect 400 people," said Ann Scales, chair of "Our Moveable Feast." "It's a great event to show off The Community Library and have people come in, see what a nice place it is, and what a jewel it is to our community."

The benefit is supported by the generous donation of food from several of Sun Valley's best restaurants and caterers with the addition of great wines and cocktails.

"We have five different food themes. There are separate rooms for French, Asian, Italian and Greek cuisine and a dessert room. Each of those rooms are transformed by decorators and art galleries to make them look like a French bistro or Italian café," Scales said. "It is our third annual, so it's still a little new, but it has been very popular with the guests who have come as well as the restaurants, caterers and wine distributors."

There will be a silent auction with close to 100 items, as well as entertainment from local musicians. The benefit is known to be a casual evening at which patrons can stroll through the library and mingle with library board members and the library's accommodating staff.

"We want to bring people into the library for an evening of fun and camaraderie and good food from local restaurants," Scales said. "Our Moveable Feast" and the garden tour in August are the major fundraising events for The Community Library.

Tickets are $100 and include all food and beverages and can be purchased at the library in person, by phone or online. For more information, call 726-3493 or visit thecommunitylibrary.com.
