Sterns touched by kindness

It's hard to find the words of appreciation that can possibly compare to the outpouring of kindness, generosity and support we've received from the community. Not a day goes by that I don't think of the kindness that our family has received from all of you ... your prayers, cards, and e-mails have been so full of caring and positive energy, that all of our spirits are lifted. Just knowing how much support we have in the Wood River Valley has helped both Aaron and I keep a positive outlook for our children.

We want to express a special "thank you" to all those who came together to organize a benefit for us: the business owners who donated items, the city of Ketchum for all the outreach, Hailey friends, the artists who entertained and to each and everyone who took part. We are so very touched and encouraged by the number of people we don't know personally who got involved and expressed their care and concern. We are very humbled and grateful for all that has been done for us.

The kindness and generosity of the community during such a rough time will not be forgotten. Thank you for seeing the potential in our family as friends, and community members, and also reminding us why we are so very proud to call the valley our home.

Dani, Aaron, Sierra and Asher Stern
