"Not all happy after Ski Tour" in the Jan. 19 Mountain Express was outrageous and ill timed. To include a sentence about things that may have gone awry is one thing, to make it a bold headline favoring the disgruntled after such a pivotal event is simply bad form—especially after such a generous, high spirited and visionary display of entrepreneurship.
Let's look at the big picture and recognize that the organizers of The Honda Ski Tour put on a remarkable show on and off the snow—and with such flair—in spite of the Arctic blast (which probably affected said businesses more than anything else). In the process they attracted a huge and overwhelmingly appreciative crowd during the cold, bleak month of January.
Thank you and bravo to Kipp Nelson, Steve Brown and The Honda Ski Tour.
