The Wendell High School Trojans took top honors at a wrestling tri-meet in Wendell Wednesday, defeating Wood River 54-18 and besting Filer 40-39.
Wood River also fell to Filer 57-24.
A bright spot at the meet for the Wolverines was the performance of 189-pounder Collin Hand, who pinned both his Wendell and Filer opponents.
Wolverine Alex Jones also scored a pin against Filer.
The Wolverines next compete at the Madison Invitational in Rexburg today and Saturday.
