NOTES—There was a full house for the season-opening home game....Winning the drawing for a Sun Valley season ski pass was an Australian who needed it.. In all, 700 raffle tickets were sold... Suns forward lines were Blake Jenson-Ryan McDonald-Adam Swain, Ryan Enrico-Jamie Ellison-Vilnis Nikolaisons, John Stevens-Paul Cox-Jon Duval, Charles Friedman-Billy Tryder-Trevor Thomas. The defensive pairs were Chris Warrington-Paul Baranzelli, Ivars Muzis-Eric Demment, Jamie James-Josh Jacobson....Scott Winkler, who cracked a rib in the season-opening game at McCall, is back skating and hopes to play with a flak jacket when the Mountaineers visit Dec. 29-30....Although they were outscored 20-7 for the weekend, the Silver Kings scored the first goal in four of the six periods... Ellison pulled within 1 point of fourth place on the all-time Suns scoring list, right behind John Finnegan.

NOTES—Professional golfer Brad Faxon was in the penalty box joining his former caddy, John "Cub' Burke who was opening the penalty box doors all weekend. Faxon came from Maine, where he putting in a golf course at Wells.....With a rousing round of applause, the Suns team gave Cub Burke the "George Jacket" in the locker room after tonight's game for all his contributions to the team and the hockey program. It was the first "George Jacket" honor for Cub since his Cubby Bear coaching days of 1992-93. The jacket was first awarded in 1992....Fifteenth-year wing John Miller was credited with his 100th Suns assist tonight....The Suns were 4-for-8 on the power play for the weekend and Park City was 1-for-23. For the season the Suns are 11-for-26 on the power play compared to 1-for-35 for opponents.....Weekend penalty minutes were Sun Valley 83 and Park City 55....Longtime Balltrappers women's softball coach Rocky Johnson was out on the town in the house tonight, celebrating his 54th birthday. Fittingly, Park City used a female goaltender, Natalie Tate, in the third period, the first time a woman has played against the Suns in the net......... Coach Chris Benson juggled the Suns forward lines with Vilnis Nikolaisons and Jamie Ellison serving one-game suspensions for Friday's third-period fight. Tonight's lines were Blake Jenson-Ryan McDonald-Adam Swain, John Stevens-Ryan Enrico-John Miller, Paul Cox-Billy Tryder-Jon Duval, Charles Friedman-Marek Page-Rian Timmons. With ski patrolman Eric Demment sitting out a game as a precautionary measure for his knee, the defensive pairs were Chris Warrington-Paul Baranzelli, Jamie James-Josh Jacobson, Ivars Muzis-Trevor Thomas.....Leading the Suns weekend scoring parade were Jami James (7 assists) and Blake Jenson (2 goals, 5 assists).... The Suns outpointed Park City 56-18....Referee Jim Kimball kept getting grief from Park City's Ben Holt, who got into the Friday night fight with Vilnis Nikolaisons and was sitting out tonight, so Kimball said he told Holt to get out of the rink.....First-year wing Jon Duval seemed snakebit in his goal-scoring attempts before getting credit for tonight's final goal.
