Nearly all five categories for which Ketchum collects local option taxes showed gains in November.
The total LOT reported to the city in November, which represents purchases in October, came to $154,217. That's nearly 12 percent more than the previous November's figure.
The "other retail" category showed the only loss, dipping .75 percent, or $608, from last November.
Liquor receipts rose a modest 1.71 percent over last November, from $12,798 to $13,017.
Buildings materials receipts came in at $47,600. That's almost 43 percent higher, or $14,229 more, than November 2005.
Condo receipts made the strongest showing, coming in at 65.53 percent, or $1,528, over last November.
Room receipts jumped 12.33 percent, or $1,016.
The city budgeted $135,249 for November, or $18,968 less than collected.
The city of Ketchum collects a 2 percent sales tax on condos, hotels and liquor by the glass, and a 1 percent tax on items in the other categories.
The money goes into the city's sales tax fund, where it is divided into the general fund and capital improvements.
