Consider the following:

- "The Wood River Valley as it is revered and remembered and celebrated is gone."

Van Gordon Sauter, former president of CBS News and part-time Ketchum resident.

- "In 1982, the cumulative net value of all properties in Blaine County was $912.5 million. By 2006 those same properties were worth $11.72 billion."

Statistic quoted in "Real Estate: Changing the landscape of the Wood River Valley."

- "I did a lot of guiding for Hemingway—he loved to kill things—I didn't know there were people who just like to kill things, but there are."

Idahoan Clayton Stewart, 89.

Intrigued? The above quotes are a glimpse into the contents of the newest issue of the Sun Valley Guide magazine, which will be released this week.
