A divisional championship and two second-place finishes were some of Sawtooth United F.C.'s boasts during last weekend's second annual Jackson Hole (Wyo.) Fall Classic youth soccer tournament.

The U12 girls won the championship game 3-2 over Green River (Wyo.). Meanwhile, the U11 girls and U14 boys captured second place, losing hard-fought championship games.

Coach Lynn Chaldu of the U11 girls said her squad lost to a tough, skilled Park City side in a 1-0 title game. The players were a little tired after playing five matches over two days, but overall she said it was a fantastic overall effort by a team playing its first club tourney.

Nine SUFC teams ranging in age from 11-14 competed last weekend at Jackson Hole. SUFC teams went 8-19-4 in their 31 games Saturday and Sunday and had some fine efforts.

SUFC was extremely proud of the parent support and the fact that the club brought the most teams in the tourney.
