The Blaine County Recreation District has announced season pass prices for the 2006-2007 ski season on the North Valley Trails. The passes will go on sale Sunday, Oct. 1, with early season discounts offered.

The North Valley Trails include the Galena Lodge trails, the Harriman Trail, Lake Creek Nordic and Quigley Nordic.

A North Valley Trails adult season pass is $160. If purchased before Dec. 1, the price is $140. A youth pass costs $45 or $25 before Dec. 1. A season pass for a dog is $25.

An adult day pass is $15.

The Friend of the Trails pass, which includes a season pass and contribution to the trails, will be offered again this year. The gold pass is $190 and platinum pin is $390.

New this year is a joint season pass good for skiing on the North Valley Trails and at the Sun Valley Nordic Center. The pass will be sold Oct. 2 to Oct. 15 for $320 at the River Run ticket office. After Oct. 15, the pass will cost $350.

The district plans to open the North Valley Trails in November, with the season continuing through the spring, snow conditions permitting.

Skiers can purchase North Valley Trails passes on line at bcrd.org, by contacting 788-2117, or visiting the district office at the Community Campus in Hailey.
