Valley Club stages Irwin Cup, senior finals

Last weekend?s golf tournaments

Sunday's Irwin Cup couples member/guest golf tournament was one of the final Valley Club events of the 2006 season.

Eight foursomes took part in the mixed couples four ball. The 18-hole better ball score of each couple was added together for a team score.

First gross winners for $175 per couple were David and Linda Cropper, Dick and Barbara Shelton (80-72 for 152-137). There were also three net winners, for $175, $125 and $90.

First net—Charles and Barb Smith, Dennis and Kathy Mogenson (73-82 for 155-123). Second net—Bill and Janet Hill, Gerald and Mary Lively (95-82 for 177-128). Third net—Jeffrey Lohmann and Janet Taggares, Glyn and Ginger Harris (84-88 for 172-129).
