Homecoming activities at WRHS

Kristen Miniard goes for a touchdown at Wednesday night's powderpuff football game at Wood River High School. The game was part of homecoming festivities underway this week at the school. Other activities include a carnival starting at 1 p.m. today. Saturday's homecoming dance is from 8:30-11:30 p.m. in the high school commons area. Later today, a tailgate barbecue will take place from 5-7 p.m. at Phil Homer Field as a prelude to the Wolverine's homecoming game with the Kimberly Bulldogs.
