The Hailey Nursery wants to enjoy the remaining warm weather and wants you to do the same.

For a charitable event called Art in the Garden, the nursery will host 14 artists from around the Wood River Valley to display art from 3 to 7 p.m. today, Sept. 8. The works will be exhibited in specially created vignettes, scattered throughout the grounds, said Carlos Villegas, Hailey Nursery's marketing director.

The artists are Mark Stone, Allison Gorby, Russ Lamb, Lyn Stallard, MaryEllen Mahar, Sher Foster, Mary Roberson, Sharon Maley, Mark and Barb Acker, Karen Zuck, Bonnie Gregory and Deanna Schrell.

Also displaying art will be art students from Wood River High School, Wood River Middle School, Silver Creek Alternative School, Hailey Elementary School and the new Woodside Elementary.

All artwork will be for sale, at cost, and 10 percent of the night's sales will be donated to The Advocates for Survivors of Domestic Violence. Music will be provided by guitarist Paul Kaiser and the Ron Wade String Studio students, with Rob Estes.

Hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served.
