Ren Faire and Shakespeare Festival change Ketchum?s accent

The Renaissance Faire and the Sun Valley Shakespeare Festival will be back in action this weekend. "The Comedy of Errors" opened Thursday at Forest Service Park in Ketchum and will be mounted at 6 p.m. tonight, Aug. 25, through Sunday, Aug 27, and Sept. 1 through Sunday, Sept. 3.

Led by Ashland, Ore.-based director Bruce Wallace Hostetler and produced by the Sun Valley Shakespeare Festival, the play's cast has veteran Shakespeare actors, including Patsy Wygle, Keith Moore, Claudia McCain, David Blampied, Scott Creighton, Jana Arnold, Jamey Reynolds, Robert Rais and Freddie Harris.

Tickets may be purchased in advance through 726-4TKS, or at the gate before the performance.

The Renaissance Faire will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 27. Entrance is free for children under 14, $5 for seniors and students, $8 for adults, with a special family price of $10 for two adults accompanying children. The Renaissance Faire is open to all for no charge.
