It's going to be stickhandling, shooting and scoring all St. Patrick's Day weekend for 10 women's hockey teams during the 10th annual Sun Valley "Shamrock Shootout" Friday through Sunday on resort ice.
Women from four western states start playing Friday, March 17 and continue through the "B Flight" championship game Sunday, March 19 at 12:50 p.m. and the "A Flight" title contest Sunday at 2 p.m.
All games will take place at Sun Valley Skating Center and spectators will have an outstanding time. In all, 21 games over three days are set.
They'll still be talking about last year's great "A Flight" championship game won by Jackson Hole's Teton Passers 1-0 over the host Sun Valley

Returning are the Sunsets, Teton Passers, Boise Phillies (named for former Sunsets coach Phil Neville) and Salt Lake City Black Diamonds.
Last year's "B Flight" winner in dominating 4-0 and 17-4 goals-against fashion was Sun Valley Fury. Fury is back in the six-team "B" bracket along with Boise Hericanes, last year's runner-up Jackson Hole Chuters, Salt Lake Shadows, University of Montana and Utah Ice Vixen.
Two "B Flight" teams will be eliminated after the preliminary round-robin action Friday and Saturday, and the surviving four will go into the #1 vs. #4 and #2 vs. #3 playoffs Sunday. Here's the schedule:
