Kindercup ready to leave gate Saturday

Golden anniversary, on Dollar

The Papoose Club's oldest tradition—the annual Kindercup alpine ski races for children—celebrates its golden anniversary on Saturday, March 4 on Dollar Mountain.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, March 1 for the 50th anniversary Kindercup, a free event starting at 10 a.m. March 4 on Dollar Mountain.

The ski and snowboard races sponsored by First Bank of Idaho are designed for kids ages 3-13. All participants receive a patch and the winners receive medals.

Pick up bibs March 4 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Carol's Dollar Mountain Cabin. Pre-register through March 1 at Ketchum's Atkinson Park, Dollar Cabin, Ski Tek in Ketchum, and Sturtevants in Hailey and Ketchum.
