Idaho Rep. Mike Simpson and Sen. Mike Crapo and Idaho gubernatorial candidate Butch Otter headline a list of prospective speakers for a Blaine County Republican Party dinner Feb. 24 in Hailey.

"We're hoping to get a group of people out and provide a fitting audience for the (speakers)," said Maurice Charlat, chairman of the Blaine County Republicans.

Tickets for the dinner, scheduled at The Mint nightclub at 6 p.m., are $30 per person, including dinner, a no-host bar and a silent auction.

Other speakers will include congressional candidate Keith Johnson, who's vying for the seat that will be vacated by Otter; Blaine County Commission candidate Dale Ewerson, of Bellevue; and Tom Luna, candidate for Idaho Superintendent of Education.

"This is a great opportunity to meet and hear what Republican members of our congressional delegation and the candidates have to say on all the important issues," said Tracy Lotz, vice chairman of the Idaho State Republican Party.

Lotz, Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden and Idaho constitutional candidates and officers have also announced to attend the event.

To reserve a space for the dinner, call Blaine County Republican Secretary-Treasurer Suzan Stommel at 788-5037, or send a check for $30 to P.O. Box 866, Ketchum, ID, 83340.
