Present nominations for 2006 Community Awards

The Sun Valley-Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Bureau is seeking nominations for its annual Community Awards, presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Wood River Valley community and the chamber.

The awards are given in several categories, including: Citizen of the Year, Youth Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Youth Advocate of the Year, Arts Advocate of the Year, Nonprofit Organization of the Year and Environmental Advocate of the Year.

The chamber has asked that area residents "please take a minute to nominate a local resident, business or organization that best fits the awards categories." Elected public officials are not eligible to win awards, nor are individuals who are paid in their efforts in the nominated area of work.

To obtain a nomination form, call Angela at 725-2103. Nominations can be faxed to 726-4533 or dropped off at the chamber office, 371 N. Main St., Suite 202, in Ketchum.

The deadline for the 2006 Community Awards nominations is Jan. 30, 2006.
