The Ketchum Sun Valley Heritage & Ski Museum in Ketchum has a new treasure. Custom designed by Anabel Lusty of Ketchum, it's a 100 percent cotton afghan featuring favorite memories and places in the area. The sale of the $55 afghan will benefit the Museum.

"Lusty took photos of special places and used some we have in our exhibits. Then we sent them to the afghan making people at Riddle Home and Gift in Burlington, North Carolina," said Betty Murphy, president of the museum board. "They are such a nice item. It's a great item for Christmas."

The Heritage & Ski Museum has exhibits on skiing, snowboarding, Gold Medallist Gretchen Fraser, as well as Ernest Hemingway among many other choice items of memorabilia. The museum celebrated its 10-year anniversary earlier this year.

The Ketchum Sun Valley Heritage and Ski Museum is open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday 1 to 4 p.m. 1st St. and Washington Ave. in Ketchum. For more information, call 726-8118.
