Swimmers plunge into state challenge

Boise meet begins today

The Wood River High School girls' and boys' swimming teams are looking forward to state competition today and Saturday, Nov. 4-5 at Boise West YMCA. Preliminaries begin today at 3:30 p.m. with final events starting Saturday at 10 a.m. Last weekend, Wood River's girls continued their undefeated team winning streak with a huge 228-point triumph over Hillcrest of Idaho Falls Saturday, Oct. 29 in the Southeast Idaho Regional Swim finals at Idaho Falls. They hold their trophy here in this group photo.
