Hailey resident's Vanessa Fry and Aaron Domini in Chicago, where both ran and completed the Chicago Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 9. It was Domini's sixth marathon and Fry's first. "The longest distance I've ever run before was a 10K, so this was quite a jump," said Fry, who finished in a time of 3 hours, 32 minutes. Domini crossed the finish in 3:09. "It was a great, great experience," Fry added. "There were about 40,000 runners registered, so to have that much energy in one place is pretty exciting." Domini and Fry both qualified for the Boston Marathon this April, and plan to enter. Fry credited Domini with getting her ready for the marathon. "I never could have trained for it on my own," she said.
